Washable, Wireless Computer Keyboards |
Responding to the demand for affordably priced, soft touch wireless computer keyboards that can be disinfected, Unotron, Inc. launched its IP66 and NEMA4X certified Washable Wireless Computer Keyboards. |
Featuring Unotron's SpillSeal patented technology to safeguard against the risk of infection and cross-contamination, this innovative product allows for complete up-and-down finger motion that mirrors natural typing, endures repeated disinfecting, and eliminates the need to frequently replace keyboards. "With Unotron, PC users can enjoy the convenience of wireless, the safety of waterproof infection-control SpillSeal technology, and the superior design of a full-travel keyboard assembly that minimizes user errors," says Joseph H. Carabello, Director of Unotron, Inc. "Spray or wipe down our wireless keyboard with disinfectants or fully submerse it in water or hospital-grade cleaning solutions, and the user still maintains the touch-and-feel of a traditional keyboard for optimal typing ease and performance." Carabello says that, with a broader understanding of just how easily germs can spread among multiple-users of keyboards and mice, the issue of more stringent infection control has migrated from the healthcare and dental settings to retail, banking, financial, hospitality and other high-traffic environments. "It is only natural for every business, education and government setting to seek the highest level of protection for their users, while taking full advantage of the versatility of wireless units." Lunch is a Terrible Thing to Waste |
Instead of hunching over paperbacks in company cafeterias or brown-bagging it on park benches, people should be networking, meeting new friends or even wooing future spouses in quality restaurants. |
That's why Charles Tran launched lunchSpark (www.lunchspark.com) - a site dedicated to helping members meet new lunch buddies at recommended restaurants across the U.S. and Canada. Whether you're seeking a lunch date in your hometown or on the road while on a business trip, lunchSpark lets you search member profiles and restaurant reviews for both the right person and the right place. Membership is free. Members can post a photo and personal profile, list and review favorite restaurants. After lunch, members can assign points (negative, positive or neutral) and leave comments about each other and the restaurants. User communication takes place through lunchSpark's private message boards. "I often noticed people eating lunch alone, so I decided to create a website to help people connect," said Tran, 25, a former software developer. Currently, most of the early adopters are not using the recently-launched lunchSpark to make new "love connections." Instead, they are taking advantage of the site to network and meet new friends. "People often have few opportunities to make new friends besides the friendships they may build with co-workers," Tran said. "The site provides an escape from lonely lunches and shop talk. It's designed to make lunch fun and exciting again." Although lunchSpark wasn't meant to compete with online dating sites, it represents an improvement over some. "It encourages people to date because it's less of a hassle," Tran said. "People don't have to devote hours to a dinner date that turns out to be a bad evening. If they don't like the date, they've only invested an hour. If they enjoyed the company, they can meet again." |

BoundlessGallery Gives Artists an Internet Marketing Presence |
It's a company that gives artists a global "virtual gallery" to market their works - and one that will prove popular among art buyers worldwide as well. BoundlessGallery.com offers free Internet postings to artists, a virtual space where artists can display and sell their work. It's a collaboration that grew out of cooperation between artists and tech professionals. |
"We are globalizing a niche which is largely local, the sale of art," says BoundlessGallery.com President Peter Gregory. "We're serious about offering the best online art-buying experience, but beyond that, we want to create an art community, a place for artists, galleries, and everyone else to see, talk about and buy art." BoundlessGallery.com is committed to giving galleries and artists full control of their listings on the site. The company will soon offer new features on the site including a "Critic's Corner," where visitors can rate art works, as well as student art contests. |
